Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist who is currently fighting in the flyweight division of the UFC. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability during the clinch final round through knees to the body. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded a UFC Contract after this victory. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne modafferi by split decision following her first fight. Antonina recovered from this loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
