Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television personality in the United States as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host who has spiky blond wigs and a pumped-up appearance, shares tips on how to cook restaurant-style dishes in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell has worked for a time in New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary practices and the environment. She also competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. Burrell is a native of the Upstate and grew up in New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I loved every minute that I was a student of The Culinary Institute of America she states. Culinary Institute of America was an excellent opportunity to pursue a degree. After graduating, chef Burrell was in Italy for a whole year studying at classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Also, she was employed at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) located in Tuscany. While in Italy Burrell developed a deep appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. It has had a profound impact on the way that Burrell approaches her cuisine. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists children with obstacles. as a speaker, guest and teacher she travels across the US to talk about her love for cooking and profession. Anne said she felt lucky that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
